Reflection Week 6

The teacher came late to the class. We rushed through all our past worksheets and discussed about our topic. Zi Ming did not come today as he was sick. There was no worksheet today as there is a break for SA1 examinations. We will research more on our topic and gather information.

Week 5 Reflection

That day, we arrived late for IPW lesson as the previous teacher released us late. We completed the survey and are brainstorming on the product of our IPW topic after so many weeks of project work. My macbook has broken down and I have sent it for repair so I shared Ren Zhu's macbook for the lesson.

Week 4 Reflection

That day, the teacher in charge of our IPW project group did not turn up for lesson for some reason. But we still managed to finish up most of the worksheet. Yi Song was having a softball competition and we planned to meet up after school sometime this week to finish it up.

Reflection Week 5

We came down to the room late as the teacher let us off pretty late. We rushed down and immediately. We have finished the survey and now we are brainstorming on our product. Jin Wei's macbook is spoilt. Therefore, he can't use it so we are sharing my macbook to gather ideas for our project.

Reflection Week 4

The teacher did not come to school on that day. We stayed in class to brainstorm and discuss our topic. We are finishing up the worksheet for week 4 already. We plan to stay back one of these days to touch up on our project so as to make it better. 

Term 2 week 3

week 2 and 3yi song was at competition while ren zhu was working out the ideas. i had to finish the survey and complete the worksheet for that day.

Reflection Week 2 & 3

We came late for lesson today. My macbook was still spoilt but I sent it for repair earlier in the morning. I asked Mr Chua if I could go to the service centre and check if they are done with my computer. I got my macbook back and now we are working on ideas. Marvin did not come today as he has softball competition. We plan to meet up one of these days to do the project together with Marvin.

Grace Reflection Week 2 & 3

We arrived late for lesson today. Ren Zhu's macbook was spoilt, but he had sent his macbook for repair early in the morning and asked for permission to go to the service centre to check if it's ready and it was. So Ren Zhu got his macbook back and we worked on ideas. Marvin left school early today as he had a soft-ball competition. We had to complete the worksheet without him. We arranged to meet soon to get the work done and get more ideas.

Reflection Week 1

 We had trouble doing the survey. We saw many people posting the address for the surveys on studywiz. my mail became full of such post. We are thinking of maybe doing the same thing and post our surveys. Maybe post it on facebook too.

Reflection Week 1

We came down to the room pretty fast. However, my macbook was spoiled. Zi Ming also did not bring his macbook. Therefore, we used the macbook in pairs. We brainstormed and did the worksheet. But Marvin had troubles uploading the worksheet onto the blog. We asked him to go home and try to upload it on the blog. But he still has not uploaded it. 

Reflection Week 1

Today, we managed to catch up with our work, which is, our survey. We had a hard time getting people to take part in doing the survey but in the end, we made it and managed to finish the survey and the results were okay and not too bad.

Reflection Term 2 Week 1

We did the survey with everybody's help although we took a long time to do it, we did it efficiently. The process was very difficult as we had to ask people to take on the survey but we got back the survey and we were able to get the survey done.

Lesson 10

Week 10 reflection

On week 10, I was absent from school and did not attend the IPW lesson. But I took part in completing the survey using my macbook at home while I was resting. My team members, Ren Zhu, Yi Song and Zi Ming, completed their part in the survey and trusted me to do my part. And of course, I did complete it. We finished the survey very quickly and could relax for a while.

Reflection Wk 10

Today our groups member, Jin Wei did not come to school. But we still carried on with our project, finding resources and thinking of  our product.I finally managed to post our past worksheets on the box widget. So now we are left to continue the research and assignments. My friend Yi Song somehow still have problems with the survey... But nevermind, im sure we can get a way thorough together :)

Jin Wei did not come to school today.We met during recess but i did not have my macbook with me and zi ming's macbook had not sufficient battery power and ren zhu had a tummy ache and thus we could not do much. We later met in the venue where we worked together and did the worksheet but it was done slowly as we had lesser macbook and one member short but we still managed to get the work done together.

Reflection Week 10

We were supposed to meet during recess to revise our worksheets. However, Jin Wei did not come to school. Marvin did not bring his macbook and Zi Ming's macbook had low battery. I had a stomach ache and did not meet. We then went to the room and did our Week 10 worksheet. We did it pretty slowly as we had lesser macbooks and team members. However, we still got it done by the end of the lesson.

We spent our time on our worksheets that are not completed. We also spent some time to research on other questions that are related to our topic. Now we must start thinking on a product

Reflection Week 8

We had no lesson on week 8. Therefore, we went down to the room to revise all our worksheets and to check if they were properly done. We had not done a few worksheets. So we discussed and finally got the worksheet done. Everyone cooperated and we finished all the worksheet very fast. We then used the remaining time to rest and let out some steam as it was the common test period.

Today, we had no worksheet do complete. So we went to touch up on our previous worksheets. The teacher came a bit late though, but we still enjoyed our lesson. We gathered immediately after we settled down and finished the previous worksheets to replace the time lost in the past few weeks. It was the common test period, so we also used this as a relaxing time to de-stress from our studies.

We had no worksheets to do for the time being as it is the common test period but we went down quickly but the teacher was late by a while. We went on and continue to do the worksheets that we had left out previously due to the lack of time that we had.

We went to ren zhu's house on saturday and brainstormed on the ideas we were going to do. We still had many questions in our mind about the topic and need more resources for our product

Lesson 7

Last Saturday, Yi Song, Zi Ming and I went to Ren Zhu's house in the morning to brainstorm on our topic. Everybody cooperated well and we had many ideas to choose from. We came late today but we finished the worksheet quickly with much teamwork. But we will be having our common test next week so we will be meeting up after the exams to further discuss our topic.

We met at my house last Saturday in the morning to brainstorm on our topic. We came up with many ideas and everyone was cooperative. We came to the Special Room a little late. However we finished up our Week 7's worksheet and brainstormed a little bit. We plan to meet up again after the common tests to further discuss on our topic.

We went down to the room quickly and waited for the teacher to come. And we started off with the worksheet and everybody contributed to do the work and it was done quickly.

Today our group went down to the room pretty quickly. However, the teacher was late and we waited for him for a short while. When he came down, we quickly got to work and worked on the worksheet. We have done the worksheet and we are planning to find a day to meet up and discuss the topic.

Today, we answered the questions for our survey asking why we did a survey and how it is useful to us and what we learnt about doing a survey. And we found out that about 90% of Singaporeans take electricity for granted.

Today we our group went down to the room pretty quickly. However, the teacher was late and we waited for him for a short while. When he came down, we quickly got to work and worked on the worksheet. We have done the worksheet and we are planning to find a day to meet up and discuss the topic.

We sat together, research on the question together and tried to find resources to answer them.

Everyone cooperated and we were able to do everything at a very fast speed. We hope to find a date to meet up and find for more resources, maybe in the library.

We brainstormed on the research questions and tried to find resources on how to answer them. Our group finished the work quickly and discussed on how to improve our answers on the researched questions.

We spent quite long discussing and brainstorming on our topic and finding out research questions from the web. Everyone was cooperating and soon, we had a list of questions. We then thought of possible answers and ways to explain all the questions. The lesson went by pretty fast and soon we all got many ideas and questions. We went back home and did some research individually.

Lesson 3:

We came to the room pretty fast and quickly got to work. We were suppose to do a worksheet and further research about the topic. After a short while, everyone discussed about the topic and we came up with the questions we wanted to ask about the question. We plan to go home and individually find more information on the topic so that we can complete it faster.

Lesson 4:

We did not meet up due to the Chinese New Year holidays. However, we are planning to meet up to do the work that we missed out on.

We could not make up our mind for the group name, but after some time, we finally came up with a name.

Last week, we were asked to decide on our group name. This week, we were asked to choose a topic to do on. We discussed for a while and decided to do the one on Weather and Electricity Consumption. The team and its leader got along well and we finished the work quickly.

After getting our group name last week, we had to choose our topic this week. After much consideration of what we were able to do and not able to do, we finally choose the topic : Weather and electricity consumption. All the members corporated with the leader and we were able to do things quickly.

Reflection 1 and 2

First lesson.

On the first lesson, we met our teacher and we had to come up with a group name. Everyone was contributing. Therefore, it was difficult to come up with the name. However, we came up with a group name in the end. I am the group leader and Yi Song is the assistant group leader.

Second lesson.

We met the teacher at the Special Room 1. We then proceeded with the lesson. Everyone was checking the GRACE website, looking at all the topics. Finally, we decided on a topic. Everyone then discussed about the topic we have chosen. In the end, it was a very fruitful lesson as we had many things done.

IPW project 1 and 2

Lesson 1 

Our team consisted of me Ng Yi Song the assistant leader, Ng Zi Ming , Ren Zhu our team leader and last member Poh Jin Wei. 

Lesson 2 

We went to the venue to start on our lesson which is to choose the topic which is needed. We had a hard time deciding the topic but we put our heads together, brainstormed and chose the topic which is weather and electricity consumption
